Q & A - Question of the Month
Dear WCS, I am a new cigar smoker, and I've been smoking small cigars, but I want to work up to a larger one. However, I find that pretty daunting. What can I do to ease into it?

Dear Katy,
Contrary to what you might think, large cigars are a better choice for beginners. This is because the tobacco will burn cooler, and the smoke will be less harsh in your mouth. A smaller cigar with heat up much quicker. Try a larger size, you might be surprised at how much more you enjoy it! That doesn't mean you have to jump right into a Churchill. Try a toro, and remember that you don't have to finish the whole thing. Just stop smoking when you stop enjoying it!
